In the wake of rumors linking to Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, high-rated midfielder Jude Bellingham, from Birmingham City, is free to sign his first professional contract today.
The youngster who turned 17 today suggested that he will now commit to a pro contract with Birmingham or any other interested parties.
Making 37 starts for the club at the age of just 16-including 34 in the Championship, Bellingham has been a regular member of this season’s first team.
United and Dortmund have arisen interest in the Englishman looking at his performances, both of them are hoping to snap the prospect up this summer.
The latest reports say that Dortmund won the race for his contract, with Bellingham noticing the strides made by Jadon Sancho at the German outfit during his decision to pick them up over a move to Old Trafford.
The contract could grow to close to £25 m but excluding add-ons and rewards, it is believed to be worth an estimated £15 m.
Bellingham ha created three goals in his 34 appearances in the Championship and has scored four goals to date.
