Tottenham hosted Manchester United and the match ended 1: 1, in the derby of the 30th round of the English Premier League.
Although there was no crowd, there was no lack of excitement, at the Tottenham stadium. Pretty good game, that brought mixed feelings among coaches, players, and fans, with two goals, and a few decisions in the finish.
It was a fair match but Tottenham did not receive victory in the end even when Bergwijn scored a goal in the 27th minute. The Dutchman rushed towards United’s goal and in the end defeated De Gea with a powerful shot.
By the end of the first half son could have doubled the Spurs’ advantage, but De Gea defended brilliantly and threw into the corner.
United was more concrete, more offensive, in the second half as expected, but Mourinho’s Tottenham had the help of a well-disposed Lloris, who stopped everything that was going towards his goal, and he kept smart on the field.
But in the 81st minute, Dier hid a penalty over Pogba, and Bruno Fernandes, as usual, was a sure scorer for 1:1.
Drama in the 90th minute, again Dier was the culprit, when another penalty was awarded to the guests, but this time VAR saved Tottenham and the referee’s decision was changed, so the teams were satisfied with one point each.
It is important to point out that after a long time Harry Kane has played one official match for Tottenham. The Red Devils will continue the chase for places leading to the Champions League and Tottenham is placed eight with 42 points and United fifth with 46 points.
