To end the Premier League season would be great for the sport said Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho.
Clubs will hold a meeting on Friday to discuss a possible sequel of the Premier League which was suspended in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Mourinho told Sky Sports, “If we manage to play the remaining nine rounds, it will be good for all of us, both for football and for the Premier League. So even if we step into an empty stadium, it won’t be empty at all.”
Tottenham was eighth in the league with 41 points, seven fewer than fourth Chelsea, holding the last place leading into the Champions League next season, during the season break. At the top is Liverpool with 82 points, 25 more than the second Manchester City.
