The Evening Standard reports, Chelsea dotted the I’s and crossed the t’s on their deal for £53million signing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
After being smoothed by the coronavirus pandemic, the transfer will be officially completed this week acknowledges Standard Sport.
The £53million release clause for the German striker expires today.
The move has worked with Covid-19 restrictions clouding the medical process since the first news broke that the Blues had closed in on Werner earlier in June.
Germany International will sign a five-year agreement worth £ 200,000 a week, after a contract for Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech in February, becoming the second summer addition in Chelsea.
