On Sunday and Monday six positive coronavirus tests were conducted across three Premier League clubs, as the top flight prepares to resume in June, according to BBC.
The players and staff who tested positive are still anonymous, they will now isolate themselves for seven days.
In total 748 players and staff from 19 clubs have been tested. The rest of the clubs will be included in the results on Saturday, who conducted tests on Tuesday.
Squads implemented non-contact training from Tuesday.
The Premier League has been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, since March 13 with there remaining 92 fixtures.
It is expected that the league will need to push back the resume date which was originally June 12.
“The Premier League provides this aggregated information for the integrity and transparency of the competition. No specific details as to clubs or individuals will be provided by the league and results will be made public in this way after each round of testing,” it said in a statement.
