Regarding Barcelona’s struggles of Antoine Griezmann, Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone stated he is “without words”.
“We’re respectful of the quality they have in Barcelona,” Simeone said.
“The game was played as a consequence of what we usually do. We got off to a good start. Their goal came in an isolated play, then to create a hard game against a team that keeps the ball well.”
“We have tried to the end. The job was very successful and the squad was really competitive. I’m glad.”While questioned about Griezmann, Simeone told Movistar (via Goal): “I’m without words.”
