During the 2019-2020 campaign, Ramos was in marvelous form, adding seven goals in 34 appearances to Zinedine Zidane’s side.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the club is only prepared to sign an extension until the summer of 2022 as the 34-year-old will be out of the deal at the end of next season.
Since arriving from Sevilla in 2005, the Spanish captain scored 91 goals in all competitions for Madrid, including doubles in two of the last four seasons.
Ramos was closely linked to the transfer to the Chinese Super League in the run-up to the 2019-20 season but eventually stayed in the Spanish capital.
