Robert Lewandowski declares that “anything is possible,” when it comes to achieving the award and the Ballon d’Or is not his priority while believing that his best years are yet to come.
“I was at last December’s awards ceremony,” Lewandowski told France Football.
“We’ll see. What I’m trying to do is always to show the best of myself, win trophies and score more goals, but that’s something that comes with collective trophies.”
“I don’t even think of the Ballon d’Or, even though I believe something is possible in my life.”
“I’m not in the best period of my career yet. I’m going to be soon, but all those are numbers. I am persuaded that the best moment of my career will come soon. I know this is not my last contract. I want to play longer and stay in shape.”
“I’ve got all the time before me to think about the future, but I feel really good. Next August, I’m going to celebrate my 32nd birthday, but that doesn’t mean I feel this age.”
“What I want is not just staying on the top for the next two or three years, I ’m looking for the longer term.”
