Virgil Van Dijk is an excellent player, but not the best defender in the world, states forward Everton Richarlison.
“People talk a lot about Virgil. Yes, it’s a great defender, but I’ve already dribbled around him,” told Risharlison to Desimpedidos (via Metro).
“He entered the top three players in the world, he had a good season, but for me, there are better defenders.”
Richarlison mentioned Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid, as well as the duet Marquinhos – Thiago Silva from PSG when asked to name the top three defenders in the world.
By the end of the month, Thiago will become a free agent, and Everton is called one of the options for continuing his career.
