PSG may sign former Chelsea star for a €30m this summer. According to L’Equipe, Milan Skriniar will leave Inter Milan this summer and join Les Parisiens. The Paris-based giants, though, have Tomori in mind when it comes to strengthening their defense.
Il Corriere dello Sport (via le10sport) reports that AC Milan would demand at least €30 million for the English center-back they acquired from Chelsea permanently in July 2021. He has made 39 appearances this season, making him one of Stefano Pioli’s most reliable defenders.
PSG is not opposed to allowing the 37-year-old Sergio Ramos to depart the team this summer as a free agent. If the storied Spanish center defender intends to stay at Parc des Princes past the current campaign, they want him to reduce his salary by half.
If the former Real Madrid great leaves, PSG may need to go to the market for alternatives. Skriniar would fill this role, but Tomori, 25, will still significantly reinforce a thin PSG backline.
El Chadaille Bitshiabu, who is 17 years old, is a fairly inexperienced center-back who fills in for Danilo Pereira. At the end of the current campaign, Tomori will still have four years remaining on his San Siro deal. But if Milan doesn’t finish in the top four this year, they might have to split ways with him, according to reports.
They sit in fourth place with 61 points from 34 games, two fewer than Inter Milan.
Conor Gallagher will be ideal for the former PSG manager at Chelsea, according to a journalist:
According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino will soon become Chelsea’s next permanent head coach. Despite winning the league championship in the 2021–22 season, the Argentine manager has been without a club since being fired by Paris Saint–Germain (PSG) last summer. Pochettino, who has already served as the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, appears destined to join the West London powerhouses.
‘Poch’ will particularly love managing Conor Gallagher, according to journalist Paul Brown. He said to GiveMeSport:
“Gallagher is ideal for Pochettino, in my opinion. If he uses the Spurs model again, where they were a hard-working, high-pressing team with quality all over the pitch and wing-backs breaking forward, Chelsea could very easily accomplish that.”
Gallagher made his senior debut for the Blues this season, despite being a player on the club’s books since 2008. He and his teammates have both struggled to make an impression throughout that time, but Chelsea’s dismal performance as a whole may also be to blame.
In his 41st appearance overall this season, the Englishman scored his third goal in the Blues’ 3-1 league victory over Bournemouth yesterday (May 6).
