Ahead of testing the latest round from Project Restart’s the Premier League has recorded zero positive coronavirus results.
Exactly 100 days after the last Premier League match before the coronavirus pandemic halted play, top-flight action is due to come back on Wednesday, June 17.
These plans will only take place if government guidelines do not tighten, though, while to ensure that there is no flare-up in the community of football the Premier League regularly conducts extensive club testing.
Sky Sports News reports that none have returned positive in the sixth round which was tested by 1,195 players and staff.
Only 13 people have returned positive, i.e. 0.2 percent of total 6,274 tests that have now been carried out by the Premier League.
