Bruno Fernandes who never had a losing side, scoring three goals and creating four more in nine appearances, in his career in United, now has the ambition to be a league champion. “Everyone has ambitions, but mine is winning the Premier League,” says Fernandes.
Portuguese footballer opens up on his main Manchester United ambition. Than any other football club, United have won more titles, but the most recent of their 20 came in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season at the helm seven years ago. Fernandes has talked about his desire to drag the club back to English football’s summit since then the Red Devils have finished out of the top three six times, not having done so in any of the previous 22 seasons.
Bruno says on his ambition to win the title – “In this case, in the Premier League. It is certain that I have already won in the League of Nations with the selection (Portuguese national team). But naturally, I want to win either the European or the World Cup.”
