In an effort to sign an experienced attacker on a free transfer ahead of the 2019-20 season, Real Betis reportedly made a deal with Chelsea’s Pedro.
Pedro will be available on a free transfer this summer as his Stamford Bridge contract is set to expire at the end of June.
Betis has emerged as contenders for the signature of the Spaniard, Roma is also said to be making a move for Pedro, according to Sport.
Having once again established itself as a top-flight side The La Liga team managed to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon last summer and is said to have big plans on the market.
In 2015 Pedro joined Chelsea from Barcelona and made 201 Blues appearances in all competitions, adding 43 goals and 28 assists in the process.
However, in this term, the former Barcelona forward only scored two goals in the 18 appearances, so it does not seem to be going further in the plans of Frank Lampard.
