No fans would be at the forthcoming Champions League games in the country, “under the present pandemic scenario”, announced Portugal’s health secretary on Monday.
“Regarding the public and based on the current pandemic situation, obviously not.” When questioned about potential fan participation at games in the Champions League, Antonio Lacerda Sales said.
“We don’t know whether the pandemic would develop so we must take steps due to the nature of the pandemic like we have done with certain cases. I can’t foresee the future. Clearly not in this process.”
