According to Tuttosport, Milan has signed a contract with former Schalke 04 and RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick.
CEO Ivan Gazidis did not hide the fact that he wanted to bring the former coach of RB Leipzig to San Siro and the director of Red Bull was connected to the Rossoneri.
Reports indicated that technical director Paolo Maldini would also have to step back and the initial contact with the German manager was the instigator of the controversy leading to earlier this year’s farewell to Zvonimir Boban.
This morning the 61-year-old is on the cover of the Tuttosport newspaper and after months of speculation, he appears destined to land in Milan.
He was recruited to a managerial position and is expected to take over all of the Diavolo’s sporting duties, leading the side alongside Gazidis.
