SkySports states Milan showed an interest in signing a free transfer to Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick.
Hendrick is out of contract this summer and has yet to agree with the Premier League side to extend. He has been capped 54 times by the Republic of Ireland.
Milan indicated their involvement in Hendrick and now are reviewing their choices ahead of the next transfer deadline, till the coronavirus pandemic.
Burnley held early discussions about a new deal for Hendrick and appeared optimistic to keep him at Turf Moor.
Hendrick was a big player in the midfield of Burnley under boss Sean Dyche. Several other Premier League clubs expressed interest in the 28-years-old.
In August 2016 the Irish international joined Burnley for a £10.5 m club-record fee and has since made 139 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.
As the Premier League gets back on June 17, Hendrick is back in training with Burnley.
