According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Arsenal like Aston Villa center-back Tyrone Mings, but it stays to be seen if they are going to make a proposal for his signature this season.
Some of the country’s greatest clubs have an eye on the England international, and he’ll likely step on if Villa relegates.
Mikel Arteta, Arsenal manager seems keen on Mings as he wants a center-back left-footed.
“I understand there is interest in Tyrone Mings from a couple of big Premier League clubs,” Ornstein said on The Ornstein and Chapman Podcast.
“Arsenal like him too, but whether that manifests itself in a bid, whether they could afford the sort of fee Villa are looking for is a completely different matter.”

Alongside Jack Grealish this season, Mings has been one of Villa’s most important players and he has earned center-back to Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad as a result of his top performances for the Midland club.
Given their struggles at the back, Arsenal could do with such a quality center-back and it’s going to be interesting to see if they ‘re going to go after his signature this summer.
At the end of the season, David Luiz is likely to move on and Mings can be a tremendous improvement on the Brazilian who is apt to mistake.
He has what it takes to help boost the chances of Gunners to become a top-four side again, he won’t be short of options and if he becomes available this summer and if Arsenal can beat his signature competition remains to be seen.
