In Turin, Juventus got a tie with Lyon to play the second leg in Champions League on August 7 says the club chairman Jean-Michel Aulas.
COVID-19 averted playing the second leg in Italy as planned but in the first leg of round 16, the Ligue 1 side lead 1-0
Aulas told RTL, “For Friday, August 7, in Turin and behind closed doors, the game against Juventus is confirmed.” “If the appeals are unsuccessful, Lyon and PSG will be massacred by teams that will have a preparation that we will not.”
Aulas is concerned at the decision to cancel the 2019/20 Ligue 1 season and the pandemic’s financial impact.
“The crisis represents a loss for French football of 900 million euros,” he explained.
“For life, it might affect us. I don’t know who can survive this.”There’s no obligation [to end the season]. We are an exception in Europe.’
