Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has acknowledged that the task he wishes to perform at the Bernabeu is the most challenging in the football world for a player in his place.
International Ukraine is currently out on loan with the Segunda Division outfit Oviedo in an effort to gain experience and improve himself as a player and aspires to become the first-choice No.1 with Los Blancos.
He replied when asked by AS if the toughest challenge for a goalkeeper is playing in goal for Real Madrid,: “Yes. There have always been, and will still be, opponents. It’s normal and some people think the responsibility lies with them. I got help from the coach, the coaching staff, and my team-mates. I do manage well the criticism.”
He added: “I hope I’ll be able to show my degree enough that Zidane knows that I have to go back to Madrid, so he has one more opportunity. I’ll do it all and we’ll see. I’ll send it all back to Madrid, but in the end the coach and the club must decide.”
