As the Inter hero appears to be tied to the side of La Liga, Lionel Messi claims that long-rumored Barcelona goal Lautaro Martinez is an “impressive striker”.
Having scored 16 goals in 31 games this season for Inter, Martinez has been linked to Barca for many months.
The Barca star says he will be happy to play at the Camp Nou with his countryman, but Messi says he is uncertain whether rumors are real.
Messi told Mundo Deportivo, “If I’m honest, I don’t know very well whether talks have been going on or are going on right now, I have no idea.”
“I believe I’ve already said that Lautaro is an amazing striker, and I know he’s a really complete forward.”
“He’s strong, he dribbles well, he scores goals, he knows how to defend the ball … but well, we’re going to have to see what’s going on with him and other players at last.”
