The Telegraph reports that Nottingham Forest is in negotiations of a new deal with head coach Sabri Lamouchi, having succeeded at the City Ground during his term. At the replacement of Martin O’Neill at the helm, The Frenchman signed a one-year contract last June.
And since then he’s launched a promotion move taking the Reds to fifth in the Championship table until the coronavirus pandemic suspended the season.
The new contract for Lamouchi expires at the end of June. The campaign for the Championships is unlikely to be finished by that time, seeing the current situation.
Although Lamouchi talks on expanding his Trentside stay is continuing, he will remain on until the end of this term and
Lamouchi surprised with his first experience of English football and talked earlier about his club passion.
“I’m glad to be here. I’ve been so delighted by the warm welcome from the fans right from the beginning. And I feel at home here every day, every week, every month.” He said back in February.
“My dream is to stay here as long as possible, that’s all I can say,” Further added Lamouchi.
