Replacing Fabio Pecchia, Andrea Pirlo will be returning to Juventus as the coach of their Serie C Under-23 team, according to Sky Sport Italia.
For several months, the offer had been in the air and Pirlo needed to give a thought on it for some time.
The former midfielder has now been accepted, and will be accompanied as his assistant manager by former teammate Roberto Baronio, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.
Winning the first piece of silverware last week, the Coppa Italia Serie C, the Juventus U23 team plays in Serie C.
Despite that victory, replaced by Pirlo in Coach Pecchia’s first management role, he will not be on the bench next season.
