Paulo Dybala’s deal is set to extend till June 2025 with Juventus making him the club’s face and future captain.
According to Tuttosport, the talks with his agent have reached a satisfactory end, and a contract is expected in August, only before the Champions League fixtures resume.
Last summer towards Tottenham Hotspur, La Joya was on the verge of an exit but was determined to fight for his place in Turin.
He was proved correct because, under Maurizio Sarri, Dybala was arguably their best player this season, also evolving into a center-forward.
In this term’s 41 competitive games, the 26-year-old has contributed 17 goals and 13 assists.
His current deal will expire in 2022 which will be extended to three years with an increased wage.
Above all, Dybala would become the club’s ‘face’ in their branding and advertisement, with a role as the team’s potential captain.
