One of Borussia Dortmund stars was Jadon Sancho, who are at risk of censorship over a celebrity hairdresser’s hiring.
Star coiffeur Winnie Nana Karkari delivered a home visit to Jadon Sancho, Raphael Guerreiro, Manuel Akanji, Thorgan Hazard, Axel Witsel and Dan-Axel Zagadou to cut their hair, according to Bild, and photographs published in the German daily show that neither the players nor the hairstylists engaged in the obligatory use of face masks.
“It’s pretty common that after all these months our guys have to get their hair cut,” Dortmund answered Bild when questioned about the story.
“But it’s definitely a no-go from both sides not to wear a mask. We’ll remind our players very, very clear about that. The hairdresser should ask himself about his behavior too.”
