Atletico Madrid players are getting ready to go just waiting for permission to restart from La Liga, stated Joao Felix.
With up to 10 people, clubs in the Spanish top flight have already resorted to community preparation, as La Liga looks to adopt the Bundesliga model of adjusting to action.
League president Javier Tebas is expecting for the match to resume on June 12th, but Felix says that if there was an alternative, Atletico would play immediately.
“We feel pretty good and are very happy playing again.” Felix told the official website of the club.
“We’d be back this weekend if it was up to us but we’ll have to wait and work hard so we can get off to a strong start.”
“At home we trained hard to guarantee we didn’t lose our strength so it was quick to get back to performing cardio work.”
“We are already beginning to practice with the ball again, so we’re trying to do it every day so we can get back to usual.”
“I missed playing and scoring goals against my team-mates.”
