The Norwegian star opts for his move to Borussia Dortmund over a switch to Juventus because the Serie A champions “would have put him in the Under-23 squad” said Mino Raiola, an agent of Erling Haaland.
Raiola says Haaland’s rise to Bundesliga dominance would never have come true if Juventus made a better offer.
Raiola told La Repubblica, an Italian outlet, “Why Haaland didn’t move to Juventus? They ’d have included him in the Under-23 team.”
In 12 matches this season for Dortmund, Haaland has scored 13 goals in total.
Despite entering only in January, he sits behind Jadon Sancho on the goal-scoring charts of the club this season.
