As Bournemouth produced a stunning 4-1 comeback win over ten-man Leicester City, Dominic Solanke scored his first two goals for the club while keeping their Premier League survival hopes alive.
In the first half following a terrible Cherries game that should have been three more in front, Jamie Vardy scored for Leicester.
Kasper Schmeichel’s errant clearance entering Wilfred Ndidi’s back contributed to the midfielder taking down Callum Wilson and Junior Stanislas converted from the penalty kick.
In two minutes Solanke was authorized to move smoothly down the left inside channel and his shot slid under the Leicester keeper, later to that Caglar Soyuncu was disqualified for hitting out at Wilson who was bringing the ball out of the net.
Stanislas then had his drive through the field unintentionally redirected into the net by Ahead of a suddenly relaxed Solanke, who hadn’t played for the Cherries in 38 games before that, Johnny Evans rattling classically around Ryan Bennett and then nudging the ball wide of the running Schmeichel.
One point ahead of the fifth-placed Manchester United, Leicester is placed fourth, while Bournemouth is within three points of Watford fourth-bottom.
