Dani Ceballos asked critics of the Welshman to watch the 2018 Champions League final if they don’t trust Real Madrid’s forward Gareth Bale.
With Newcastle United being reportedly involved in being taken over by a Premier League team Bale has been linked to a step away from Santiago Bernabeu.
Ceballos thinks Bale will fit the Premier League and reminded critics of the 30-year-old’s achievements in the 2018 Champions League final.
Ceballos said Wednesday to Deportes Cuatro: “It’s a competition that would be really good for him because he’s the main guy for Madrid,”
“Let us not ignore what he’s offered the team. Whoever doesn’t like him, put on the final of the Champions League. He’s given the Club a lot.”
Bale has won four Champions League trophies and one La Liga crown among several other honors since moving from Tottenham in 2013.
Even though his recent loan spell at Arsenal, Ceballos is still hopeful to be successful at Real Madrid.
