Manchester City reportedly named Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey as a possible replacement for Leroy Sane.
Sane is left with just a year on his contract and during the next transfer window he is expected to leave for Bayern Munich.
City clearly aims to offer a choice of big money to Germany international, although there is ambiguity about next season’s participation of the club in Europe.
According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League outfit has been left impressed by the Jamaican winger Bailey’s success.
The 22-year-old has contributed just five goals and one assist in the Bundesliga this season, he’s been limited to seven starts and nine substitute outings.
If Leverkusen obtains a £40 m bid, it is reportedly open to a sale.
