By signing Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz, Chelsea is allegedly seeking a double swoop on the Bundesliga.
The Blues are rumored to have already reached personal terms with Timo Werner, after triggering the £53.8 m release clause in his RB Leipzig deal.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea has now set its sights on getting in young Leverkusen attacker Havertz.
It is claimed that Frank Lampard’s side will have to hand over around £ 75 m for the 20-year-old, who has a combined 22 goals and assists in 38 appearances this term.
Before the age of 21, Havertz has recently become the first Bundesliga player to achieve 35 goals and is also believed to be a target for Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Liverpool.
