German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced, the decision to continue the German Football Championship will be made on Wednesday, May 6.
If protection measures are prematurely mitigated then there is still a rise in coronavirus infections, Merkel met with all 16 state governors and alerted them on Thursday.
There is a hope that the Bundesliga will continue behind the closed doors from January 9 but the decision will obviously be a political one, declared the German Football Federation.
