Thiago told Bayern Munich bosses that he wants to leave the Bundesliga club and does not want to sign a new contract, reports Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg.
While Hansi Flick has not given up hope that Thiago will sign a new deal, his midfield preference is Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka and Spain International remains on its current deal for one year.
Thiago and Bayern had reached a new contract in May but the 29-year-old hesitated, reported Christian Falk, an expert at Bayern Munich.
Thiago’s now being suggested to join the Premier League side, Liverpool.
