Arsenal’s another offer to Manchester United’s target. Arsenal plans to present a fresh bid to Manchester United. According to Metro, Arsenal is preparing to make a fresh bid for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is wanted by Manchester United. A prior offer of €47 million from the Gunners for the midfielder was turned down. Lazio of Serie A is now Milinkovic-team. Savic has played 314 games for the Italian club, scoring 63 goals and assisting 58 others. Lazio’s asking price for the Serbian is a staggering €105 million.
The Lazio player’s contract is slated to end in 2024, and other clubs are attempting to sign him for a lower price. According to rumors, the club might let him leave for €80 million, although his value is expected to decline soon. In the last several weeks, Arsenal has made “significant measures” to bring in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and they are already laying the basis for a possible offer in June. Lazio is presently seeking between €80 and €100 million, but in the summer, that figure may fall by between €40 and €50 million.
For Lazio this year, Milinkovic-Savid has shown excellent form. In 14 Serie A matches, he has three goals and seven assists. Granit Xhaka, who has been in outstanding form this season, might take on a more advanced attacking role if Arsenal were to pair the midfielder with Thomas Partey in the center of their midfield. Thomas Partey left the 2022 FIFA World Cup early when Ghana was eliminated from the competition in the group round. The midfielder is once again concentrating on Arsenal’s bid for the Premier League championship.
Mikel Arteta, the manager of the Gunners, discussed the player’s return. The Spaniard said following his team’s victory over AC Milan in the Dubai Super Cup: “He participated heavily [at the World Cup] and undoubtedly felt disappointed about the circumstances surrounding his departure, but every country experiences this when they are eliminated, and it takes a few days to recuperate and begin to concentrate on the team. The good news is that everybody has been demonstrating their want to return and their desire to get ready as soon as possible. It was wonderful to see those two back playing today.” Do you believe Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will be successfully signed by Arsenal?
