Lazio President Claudio Lotito has allegedly asked his players to agree on the planned pay cuts for March and April, but the Aquile Stars are not convinced.
Sources reveal that the players did not welcome the idea communicated by Biancocelesti’s patron about a possible reduction in players’ salaries at the Olimpico.
For the months of March and April Lotito plans to cut its wages and will call for a similar strategy for the months of May and June, until Series A resumes.
The players did not respond well to the letter, but with Captain Senad Lulic currently in Switzerland, the meeting would only be a preliminary one, according to the Roman newspaper.
