Verona welcomed Sofyan Amrabat and Matteo Pessina back but they missed out on Mattia Zaccagni, Fabio Borini, and Giampaolo Pazzini.
One point behind Atalanta, Inter fell to the third position and is Juventus leaders’ 10-point adrift. In Serie A, Hellas has not yet beaten Inter since 1992, managing four draws from 18 attempts.
