The dirty dealings of South American football are going to be showcased in a new Amazon Prime Video series starting this week called “El Presidente” which is casting a satirical look through the eyes of deceased former Argentine football boss Julio Grondona.

In 2014 he died and the amazon prime video show is going to be eight-part series, to be streamed from Friday has recounted stories about dirty deals with football connected with Grondona.
“I find it really fascinating to picture Don Julio presenting the tale from the other side,” told Reuters Armando Bo, who is the founder of the film, director, and executive producer.
“And he is saying us in a confident way, having experienced it and with nothing to risk.”
“It’s one of those situations where the reality is more unusual than fiction and I was sort of compelled to make it with humor and satire.” said Bo, who earned an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 2015 for “Birdman.”
