Max Allegri is free to return to football since his contract with Juventus formally expired today.
Allegri left Juve and made way for Maurizio Sarri last summer, ye he had one year left on his club contract.
According to, the 52-year-old is no longer tied to the Bianconeri, who were, in effect, stripped of his €7 m salary.
That means without agreeing on a severance package, he is free to speak with other clubs.
He was linked to the hot seat of Paris Saint-Germain and led the Old Lady between 2015 and 2019 to five Scudetti and two Champions League Finals.
Previously the coach had been tipped to join Manchester United but they appear to stick to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
